Officer Geyer has been in Law Enforcement since August 2002. She has been a Winters Police Officer since June 2009. She has been the City of Winters Fire Marshal since December 2010.
Officer Geyer attended Sul Ross State University and earned a Bachelors Degree in English and Psychology. She holds several certificates and licenses through the State of Texas including Emergency Telecommunications Operator, Emergency Medical Technician and Arson Investigator. She is also a member of the Winters Volunteer Fire Department.
On her days off, Officer Geyer enjoys fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Nathan was born into a large, busy family of seven children.
The home was always a welcome haven to other less-
fortunate children, and a gathering place for his father’s
educational colleagues and business associates.
At age seventeen, Nathan joined the United States Marine
Corps and spent eight years in military service.
While serving in the Marine Corps, Nathan finished college.
He followed in his father’s footsteps by setting up learning
centers in several states for children and for “down
and out” illiterate adults going through substance abuse
rehabilitation.
Nathan earned a PH.D. in Psychology and Christian
Counseling from Louisiana Baptist University. During this
time, he served as an licensed administrator of a residential
facility and school for troubled teens.
In addition to his administrative and educational duties at
the school, Nathan developed the Paladin program, an
adventure-based education program designed to help teen’s
self-esteem and build confidence through strength and
experience.
Later Nathan followed his childhood dream and became
educated and licensed as a Master Peace Officer by the State
of Texas. He has earned multiple proficiency and instructor
certifications and has accumulated over 4,000 hours of
Continuing Education in Criminal Justice, Emergency
Management Studies, and Forensic Hypnosis.
For several years, he has been a guest lecturer at Hardin
Simmons University’s Criminal Justice Department.
Nathan has served as a Captain for the Uvalde County
Sheriff Department, and became a Special Investigator for
the District Attorney’s Office serving Uvalde, Real, and
Medina Counties. Nathan has testified in Local, State, and
Federal Courts. He has presented cases to the Grand Jury,
and he has been the lead investigator in homicides, Mexican
Mafia and Texas Syndicate cases, and in organized crime
investigations along the border area. Nathan currently
serves as the Chief of Police in Winters, Texas.

Juan Parra joined the Winters Police Department in October 2008. He is a Master Police Officer, Certified D.A.R.E Instructor, Certified TCLEOSE Instructor and has over 3300 hours of training in different areas of Law Enforcement.
Juan began his Law Enforcement Career in 1995 and Graduated from the Sul Ross Police Academy, in Alpine, Texas in 1996. Juan has 16 years of Law Enforcement experience beginning as a Communications Officer, Patrolman, Deputy Sheriff, and now serving as Sergeant of the Winters Police Department.
When Juan is not working, he enjoys watching NFL Football, coaching, playing golf, fishing, barbequing, and spending time with his family.

Officer Davis spent the majority of his life in the Central Texas area, is a proud father, and grandfather, who enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, and other outdoor activities.
Officer Davis began his law enforcement career, in 1988, while attending the W.C.T.C.O.G. Law Enforcement Academy, in Abilene, Texas. Officer Davis has 23 years law enforcement experience, beginning as a reserve deputy, patrolman, and promoting through the ranks, achieving the positions of Captain of Investigations, and Patrol Commander. Officer Davis was appointed and served as Chief of Police for the Cities of Lexington, Texas, and Olney, Texas, prior to joining the Winters Police Department. Officer Davis holds a Master Peace Officer Certification, is a T.C.L.E.O.S.E. Certified Police Instructor, and has attended over 2500 hours of education and law enforcement training.
Officer Davis says he set goals early in his career, met those goals, but missed certain aspects of Law Enforcement. He recently decided to leave the administration side of the job, and return to a patrol position, allowing him to interact with citizens in a more “community involved”, and enjoyable atmosphere.
